It is that time of year again....Time to think about storing your boat for the winter. Our storage rates (see below) include winterization; optional services (such as pick up, oil change, tune-up and detailing) are available for an additional charge.
You have the option to drop off your boat on its trailer at Nisswa Marine or we will pick it up at your chosen location. For those requesting boat pick up on the GULL LAKE CHAIN, we will either pick your boat up from Zorbaz's or Love Lake Marina dock on your specified date (weather permitting) or from your dock lift. Please call for rates on other lakes.
For those of you that are continuing to store with us, please let us know if there are any additions or corrections that need to be made by noting it on the storage card (that you will receive in the mail). Also, please send us a copy of your insurance coverage with Nisswa Marine, Inc. listed as the additional insured on your policy. Nisswa Marine, Inc. will not store your boat without this information.
For those of you who are looking to store with Nisswa Marine please contact us, so we can complete a storage card/contract as completely as possible - including phone numbers, directions to your lake home (both by land and water), addresses, fire numbers, etc. We will also need a copy of your insurance coverage with Nisswa Marine, Inc. listed as the additonal insured on your policy. Nisswa Marine, Inc. will not store your boat without this information.
The storage card and contract helps us schedule pick up times and storage space. The more complete the card and contract is the better we are able to serve you.
FOR THOSE DROPPING OFF THEIR BOAT AT NISSWA MARINE:- Check in at the Parts Counter to complete a storage form
- If dropping off your boat after hours, place your completed storage card and contract in the drop box (in Nisswa Marine's entryway
- LEAVE YOUR KEYS IN THE IGNITION OR GLOVE BOX
FOR THOSE REQUESTING BOAT PICK UP:
- Complete storage contract, making sure to note a pick up date and location
- LEAVE YOUR KEYS IN THE IGNITION OR GLOVE BOX
- Return the storage contract via mail or fax by September 18th (218.963.4402)
- NO SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED UNLESS YOUR COMPLETED AND SIGNED CONTRACT IS RETURNED BY SEPTEMBER 16TH

FALLDrain hull
Add fuel conditioner to fuel
Start engine to supply conditioner fuel to carburetor
Fog powerhead with rust preventative
Drain block, manifolds, oil coolers (I/O only)
Drain and refill lower unit/outdrive
Disconnect battery
Replace water separator canister - I/O and some O/B's
Add antifreeze to engine block and power steering cooler to ensure maximum protection
Place in covered storage

SPRING
Charge battery
Check bilge pump, blower, navigation lights (repair extra)
Run engine
Check cooling system and shifting
Wash and vacuum NOT not included |
